Child protection and use of the photos

This site contains photos of girls who are minors (under 18) according to Colombian law. We use them with the permission of their families and only to tell the story of the foundation's work.

We do not authorize copying, downloading, sharing, modifying or publishing these photos anywhere else, under any circumstances. Nor do we authorize their use with artificial intelligence: not to train models, not to feed them, and not to generate images from them.

That is why, before you enter, the site shows a child protection notice that you have to accept. Accepting it means you commit to respecting these conditions.

We ask machines too: our robots.txt file closes the image folders to known artificial intelligence crawlers and to Google Images, and every image on the site is served with the X-Robots-Tag header "noimageai, noai". The foundation's text remains public.

Cookies and data in your browser

lf_aviso: remembers that you already accepted the child protection notice, so we don't show it on every visit. It lasts 365 days, applies to the whole site and holds no personal data: only the version of the notice you accepted. If we change the notice, we'll ask you again. If you delete it or browse in private mode, the notice comes back.

Google Analytics and Mixpanel: we measure, in aggregate and anonymously, how the site is used (for example, how many people open Join us or click to donate). Google Analytics uses its own cookies for this, and Mixpanel stores an anonymous identifier in your browser, so we know two visits come from the same device without knowing who you are. We don't use them to identify you and we don't ask for personal data.

With Mixpanel we also record browsing sessions, to see where the site is hard to follow. In those recordings every image is blocked: the girls' photos are never shown. Whatever you type in text fields is hidden. Beyond this, the site stores nothing else in your browser: no accounts and no forms.

Donations

You can support the foundation from Join us, the panel opened by the "Join us", "I want to contribute" and "Donate here" buttons.

One-time donation (Colombia): the payment is processed by Bold, in Colombian pesos, with a minimum of COP 5,000. This site never sees or stores your card or account details: it only prepares the donation reference and amount, and Bold makes the charge. When you finish, Bold emails you the receipt and brings you back to a thank-you page with the reference and the payment status.

Monthly donation: made through a Mercado Pago subscription. Mercado Pago sends you a receipt for each charge, and you can manage or cancel the subscription from your account at any time.

From the United States: you can donate through our partner Caring for Colombia, a 501(c)(3) organization, on the Give Lively platform. Those donations follow that platform's terms.

Time and goods: volunteering and in-kind donations are coordinated over WhatsApp; there you only share what you decide to write to us.

Refunds and tax matters (such as donation certificates): handled by writing directly to the foundation at fundacionlasfuertes@gmail.com.
